3D Face Scanner
A device that scans the entire face, creating a digital replica of the patient’s appearance as 3D data. It helps dentists and technicians define a precise smile line and analyze factors such as facial bone structure, occlusion, and dental misalignment. This enables optimal restorative solutions tailored to each patient’s esthetic needs and masticatory function.
PIC Technology
The application of advanced stereophotogrammetry through the PIC (Precise Implant Captures) implant scanning system. This technology not only determines the exact position of each implant but also fully digitizes the impression process, replacing conventional methods. The result is exceptional accuracy and passive fit for full-arch implant restorations, optimized treatment time, and a smooth, comfortable experience for the patient.
Zebris JMA Optic Electronic Facebow System
The JMA optical system records the patient’s mandibular movements using optical triangulation, calculating functional parameters to program virtual and mechanical articulators and exporting data compatible with CAD/CAM or CBCT systems. In just 15 minutes of recording, the system can precisely determine the facebow, mandibular movement, and neuromuscular relationships—helping to optimize the functional performance of dental restorations.
ICE PLUS
THE FIRST FRAMEWORK MATERIAL FOR FULL-ARCH RESTORATIONS
Developed by the Zirkonzahn Group (Italy), Ice Plus is a material line specially researched and engineered for modern implant restorations, fixed full-arch prostheses, and cases requiring high load-bearing capacity. This enhanced zirconia framework material offers superior properties such as:
Biocompatibility
Zirconia has been proven to offer superior biocompatibility and is widely trusted by clinicians in single-implant restorations (the zero bone loss concept). However, applying zirconia to full-arch implant restorations was previously subject to significant limitations. With ICE Plus, these barriers have been overcome, giving clinicians greater confidence when prescribing full-arch implant-supported restorations.
Safe and Reliable
With a published flexural strength of up to 1,900 MPa (HIP) and 1,650 MPa (non-HIP), ICE Plus completely eliminates concerns about framework fracture during torque application. Notably, an ICE Plus framework weighs about the same as a titanium framework, keeping the restoration from becoming too heavy and limiting additional load on the implants and supporting tissues.
Superior Esthetics
In full-arch implant restorations—particularly FP1 cases—the use of a metal framework carries the risk of a grayish, dark hue showing through the gingival tissue, directly affecting esthetics and patient satisfaction. With its full-body zirconia structure, ICE Plus eliminates this drawback entirely, delivering natural, refined, and long-lasting color stability.

THE NEW GENERATION OF PREMIUM ZIRKONZAHN ZIRCONIA BLANKS
Prettau® Dispersive® zirconia is given a soft, natural shade gradation already during the manufacturing process, thanks to a smooth, dispersive color transition. With the new Prettau® 3 Dispersive® zirconia, Zirkonzahn has developed a material featuring a triple gradient, achieved through its Gradual-Triplex Technology.
Beyond the shading, both translucency and flexural strength vary throughout the material. The incisally increasing translucency produces a highly translucent incisal edge, while the cervically increasing flexural strength delivers extremely high strength at the tooth neck.
Accordingly, Prettau® 3 Dispersive® is suitable for all types of zirconia restorations and is particularly well suited to monolithic restorations.
For material-identical shade determination, Zirkonzahn offers dedicated zirconia shade guides with sample teeth made of Prettau® 3 Dispersive®, available in premolar as well as upper and lower incisor forms. Only when the shade guide and the zirconia structure are made of the identical material is it possible to achieve a restoration shade as close as possible to the patient’s natural teeth.

Processing
- Place the designed structure in the Zirkonzahn.Nesting software according to the displayed colour gradient
- CAM dry processing
- Sintering at 1500 °C (fast sintering of single crowns possible)
- Glazing with 3D Glaze Base or Glaze Plus
- High-gloss polishing
- Insertion: cementation or screw retention
